Douglas Halliday is the top Plastic Surgeon in East Syracuse New York
MEET DR. HALLIDAY Fellow & Member,American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Personal BioOver the past twenty years, Dr. Halliday has been very active in the upstate New York community in the areas of voluntary health care, especially in ares in relationship to domestic violence. As a result of his efforts he was last year’s efforts, he was nominated in 2009 as Vera House Honorary Chair. which is the local shelter for battered women. Dr. Halliday provides reconstructive surgery to victims of domestic violence at no cost to the victims. Recently we have expanded this program to include churches that bring victims of domestic violence into our area for medical treatment. As a result of this, over the past two years we have been treating a woman from Ethiopia who suffered severe facial burns, as a result of the actions of a witch doctor. Dr. Halliday performed fourteen operations on her over a period of two years.
